1989/90 supersport 900 information

if like me you have a supersport and cannot find any information on your bike, i would reccomend a book by Ian Falloon, called Ducati supersport. suprise suprise!
brief history, the bike uses the 750 sport frame, with 851 running gear. namely the wheels, exhausts, clutch, gearbox. The engine is from 906 Paso, as is the switchgear.
The clocks and headlamp are off the 750. the bike has a hydraulically opperated dry clutch, and Webber 44 DCNF116 Twin choke carberettor.

For this bike the ignition was changed to Marelli Digiplex powered by a larger 350 watt alternator.
The brakes came from the 851 4 pot Brembo, except front rotors which are 300mm not 320 as per 851, rear brake same as 851.
Hope this may be of help to someone, but its worth remembering it is an 18 year old bike and could have been modified by previous owners!
