1198 Clutch basket upgrades

My clutch basket is beyond serviceable repair (knackered as we in the trade say) & need to change it.
I’ve found a Barnett basket with stainless inserts which is the only thing that looks like an improvement on the stock basket. I’m concerned about having to hard surfaces coming into contact with each other.
Anyone upgraded their basket & still use std plates?

The worst combination is steel plates with an alloy basket as the basket gets chewed up pretty quickly. Alloy plates with a steel basket is not ideal but in my experience less bad. Stainless can be quite soft so I guess alloy plates would be a better choice.

I went with a basket supplied by BSD in Peterborough, £90 inc VAT wasn’t too bad.
The clutch is now a lot quieter
