Hi is there a inherent problem with Ducati OEM clutch slave cylinders, a friend and i have just back from a ride out in North Notts & Lincolnshire, the bottom rear of the engine is covered in clutch fluid and it appears to have been leaking from the slave cylinder.
I would probably say this is just an age thing . You’re bikes 11 years old .
Probably just needs a rebuild / seal kit .

BJ he has ordered the seal kit, not just the Oring on the face of the slave cylinder and engine casing, but the 2 that are on the push rod.
Also as a matter of course the fluid will get changed.
Sounds Good mate . Make sure you scrub your engine with some neat fairy and wash off as the fluid will strip you’re paint bad mate .
BJ, fully synthetic (DOT 5) is paint friendly, it ius also high temp so suitable for fast road & trackday/racing
