Update: had bike at Ducati for a scan - rear brake switch think it’s being pressed although unplugged, same with yet another new switch.
Ducati recons a new wiring loom is required circa 2,500 of our best Stirling Pounds. Not going to happen, so got the trust multimeter out again and started tracing the rear loom as I now atleast know it is the rear brake that trigger it.
“Think” I found the piece of loom that is faulty…waiting for new one to arrive this week to install and test but when unplugging the loom the light goes out, when plug back in the light goes on, so trust I am one step closer…oh and new piece of rear brake loom, from Ducati, was all of 30 quid!
Fingers crossed the new wires arrive this week and I can install and test before the weekend…
