hi, wonder if anyone can advise, recently purchased a set of mikuni bdst 38 carbs for my ducati 900ss 1989/1990 model, bike runs with these fitted but not as clean as I would like.
can any one advise on jet, needles and settings, and air filters, I have sock filters fitted but they are squashed under the frame cross section tube, is there anyone out there who could carry out this work , I am in stoke on trent area , mobile 07831436228 , email mike@mmbagnall.co.uk

Is it running rich then? Squished filters would affect the air flow I would imagine.
thanks for response, I need to check this out and find how much air flow is rqd, wondered what filters others have fitted when using these mikuni carbs as room is limited due to cross section on frame.
