Just wondering if anyone has experience of buying petrol tanks from India or anywhere in UK that do half decent replicas?
Is it better to buy Alu or steel?
Was thinking about buying an Indian fuel tank, until started looking at the reviews. They may be cheap(ish) but the build quality and fit are a different matter altogether. Ending up getting an ally Vic Camp style tank for a 250 race bike from TAB tanks, not cheap but good quality and hand made. Would go for aluminium if you can, it won’t go rusty or need treating for pump fuel
