21 February 2017, Jakarta (Indonesia) – After being awarded his position as Honorary Investment Advisor to the Thai Board of Investment in Bangkok and meeting the Thai Prime Minister, Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali flew on to Indonesia to visit the world’s largest Ducati store.
After its first year of success as Ducati’s Official Importer to Indonesia, PT Garansindo Euro Sports today enthusiastically welcomed the arrival of Claudio Domenicali. For the first time in Ducati’s 15 year history in Indonesia, the Italian manufacturer’s CEO made a special visit to give his appreciation for the significant progress of Ducati in the country.
“Our importer in Indonesia, PT Garansindo Euro Sports, has done a superb job of interpreting Ducati brand values”, said Claudio Domenicali at the Meet-and-Greet event held today at the Ducati Flagship Store Indonesia. “The Jakarta showroom presents our products as true works of art in a well thought-out, decidedly premium setting. Plenty of space, a multi-floor display, attention to detail, the exhibition of vintage bikes, an entire floor dedicated to the Scrambler, welcome areas and a top-notch Service area make this store one of the best in the world”.
Today’s casual event, which also featured live music and a barbecue, welcomed local Ducati communities such as the DDOCI and DSO Ducati Owners Clubs, in addition to local media wishing to meet Domenicali. He received a warm welcome from everyone, including the Indonesian Ducatisti, who have always been very supportive of activities organized by Ducati Indonesia.

At 3,000 square metres, the Ducati Flagship Store Indonesia situated in Jakarta and opened last year by Aruba.it Racing Ducati Superbike Team star, Chaz Davies, now represents Ducati’s largest store in the world.
