Engine paint

I wish to renovate the engine and casing paint on my 2001 996 BP. The barrels and heads are terrible and the gerabox paint is starting to go

I would ike to treat the allow corrosion ( white dust) with something and then paint with an orignal colour

Ideas ?

I think most aluminium treatments for oxidisation are based on phosphoric acid - the stuff that makes your coins shiny if you leave them in coke. Don’t know about the paint though…
