Greetings from Mid Cornwall

Hi everyone.

My first post here. I have been a ducati enthusiast for a number of years and I am on my 4th.

  1. 1999 750 Supersport SSie in yellow (sold)

  2. 2005 999 Biposto in red (written off due to fire)

  3. 2005 Multistrada 1000DS in 2 tone grey (sold)

  4. 2009 Multistrada 1100s in pearl white is my current bike and bought her in Nov 2011

I live near Newquay and work for an emergency service.

Would love to ‘ride out’ with other duke enthusiasts.

Pete

There are a few down that way, lovely part of the world.

Hi Pete,

I’ve replied to you on the other forum re:- Breakfast meets at the Route 38.

Guy “Captain Pugwash” Gagan runs the Cornwall DOCGB branch, they’re quite active through the year and have a monthly Breakfast meet at The Green Parrot in Perrenporth.

Weekends are a bit hit and miss for me as I have my little girls alternately, the Kernowtisti brekkie meet also clashes with a 851/888 meet in Marlborough.*

*This ones a full weekend for me as I stay with Steve “B” Bailey aka duc904red, a DOCGB member and 888 owner who lives in Westbury.

Hi Pete,
The Cornwall branch start our summer meeting times from April. Let’s hope we get a summer this year! Next meet is first Thursday in April from 7pm at Hawkins Arms, Zelah.

Hope to see you at a meet soon.

All the best, Guy

Hi Pete, nice bikes that you’ve owned so far - and a great place to live - I visit Mawgan Porth at least once a year, really like the area.
