I’ve owned Ducati’s for the last 10 years so I thought it is about time I joined the brotherhood.
I now own a 2008 sports classic, a 999 and my most recent purchse is a 1981 Mike Hailwood Rep Mk1 in need of major restoration, so any
help and advice will be most welcome.
I have just sent the body work for repainting but I am worried about getting the correct green, does anyone know the correct RAL number for it.
Also the chrome is looking a bit shabby so if anybody could point me in the direction of good chrome specialist I would be most greatfull.
I will post some pics of the progress as and when it happens.

You should get good answers to your questions on here re the MH Rep - and that’s a good selection of Ducatis that you own.
You’ve got the right one there Martyn yep the sports classic is a modern Hailwood rep.
Hopefully see you at the East Lancs meet if I ever get the bikes dug out of these snow drifts

Same bike as you, had paint done by Dreamland on the Wirral, got colours spoton and brilliant paint job.
Found perished cables in wiring harness , so be careful!
parts available from mdina italia, Andy at mdina is very helpful and knowledgeable.
Struggling to make conti’s fit, but nearly ready for first fireup, got to fit new wiring harness and the?..
