Highest "carried" Ducati Helmet - excluding while on a plane

Whilst visiting Canada I went to the top of Whistlers Mountain which is just outside Jasper, Alberta.

I took my helmet to the top which is 8100 feet. Is this the highest anybody has carried a Ducati Helmet?

I have flown over the Alps with mine !!

I did ask if it was the highest “carried”.

I flew at 39,000ft to Canada

I was carrying it !! It was on my knee

This could be a new section in ‘Desmo’ to go with the furthest traveled ‘Desmo’ …

Martyn - the heading does say ‘excluding while on a plane’ !!

You can’t expect Martyn to read it properly

Perhaps I should have also asked for photographic evidence?

and yes, photographic evidence must be shown!

Carried my Shoei on my head over the Stelvio Pass whilst riding my Ducati - does that count?

And if Martyn wants to Willy Wave in the excluded category - 50,000 feet on Concorde :stuck_out_tongue:

That is a tricky one as, while it is not what I meant, it makes sense.

Suggest we have 3 options:

  1. Highest altitude for a Ducati helmet being worn while riding a Ducati which is currently Stelvio Pass @ 9045ft

  2. Highest altitude for a Ducati helmet carried in your hand while walking which is currently Whistlers Mountain, Jasper @ 8,100ft

  3. Highest altitude for a Ducati helmet while in a plane which is an almost unassailable 50,000ft on Concorde - unless someone has taken one into space!!!

What do you know - Martyn is not winning any of them

Sorry - Forgot the Photo for Category 1

I will, watch this SPACE …
