My 695 has a threaded, adjustable rear shock linkage tie rod.
It just passed the MOT but got an advisory on worn linkage joints.
When looking at replacing either the joints or the complete rod, I found a second hand tie rod on eBay for less than the cost of one new ball joint. However, before dismantling it I looked closer, and the rod I bought matches pics in the parts book, and is non-adjustable.
So…any ideas where mine comes from. See pics. Is it a later deveopment? Or off of something else? After-market maybe? Any ideas please?
Looks like I might have found the answer.
The S2R and S4R use an adjustable tie-rod, so I think it might be off of one of them.
