Greetings one and all. Lets talk side stands. I have a 2009 Monster 1100s that, like most Ducati, leans over a lot when on the stand. I’m looking for a stand that is 20mm longer than the standard item. Any advice would be welcome. Ta muchly!
There are loads of side stand lifting products on the market which will raise the lift point by 10mm, at least, they also have the ability to spread the load over a wider area as they clamp to the foot of the existing side stand. Ducati bikes do lean over a long way but something like this might give you piece of mind. Search the Internet for “Monster 1100S Side Stand Extension Pad Support Plate”. You can usually get them in anodised aluminum to match the colour of the bike.
