It’s really as nasty as it sounds, if this op’ doesn’t work the next step is amputation!
She’s seriously considered this option, the pains been that bad over the years.
Ness was on Morphine 24/7 until last Xmas, when a small Op’ eased the pain for a couple of months.
I really hope that this isn’t the case, because I’d have to change Nessie’s name to ‘Peggy’ and when she pisses me off, I’d have to tell her to ‘Hop it’… 
She was riding her bike (CG 125 Honda) home from the CFE, She was doing an access course to Uni’ at the time, when a learner driver ‘T’ boned her lower leg into the side of the bike…
Nessie went on to get a degree in Plant Science BSc Hons whilst still walking on crutches.
The girl is a star beyond anything that I could imagine…
I’m the luckiest man alive and in my mind there’s no doubt in that!
The fact that she never blinks when I (yet again) spend ‘Stupid’ money on yet another part for one of my Dukes, has absolutely nothing to do with that statement.
