Sussex branch is active, if you have Facebook a lot of activities are posted on there, search for Ducati Owners Club BB Sussex
I need to try get along to the kent one. They are about the same distance from us, but kent comes towards us more 
Hi Tom - Horam is not too far at all and I have requested to join the Sussex Facebook page about a week ago but still nothing so might try the Kent one.
To be honest ive been to neither. Ive noticed the kent group go down to rye etc sometimes. Where as the sussex group meet at shoreham tend to then go goodwood way, bit of a trek from here.
If you fancied popping up to the kent meet when the weather gets good again let me know and could go up together.
Kent is also good, not just a branch of the club but a great group of people
