Hi there from Andy, a noob to DOCGB based in Lancashire.
I’m presently preparing a 1000DS for the road after it had been laying pretty much unused for the last 4 or 5 years.
Just about to have a crack at the belts replacement.
I had been planning to drain the tank by removing the fuel pump assembly but Ducati Preston didn’t have the x seal. Any suggestions on best way to get the residual stuff in the tank out would be appreciated!
Am looking forward to getting out on it ASAP before autumn turns into winter and bumping into other forum members out and abouts
