Panigale v4r ridden like a grandad

Hi all, I’ve had my Panigale v4r 3 weeks now, I’ve done about 100 miles but never been over about 8k revs. I bought it because I like it not because i ride fast or have any intention of doing a track day on it. I’ve had around 40 bikes over the years including various Ducati’s 999s, 916, 907 and 2 hypermotards

I love the V4r but as this is the most hard core bike I’ve ridden and dont do more than 50% of what it’s capable of ……… my question is will my pootling around cause any harm to the engine?

Not at all, as long as its being ridden thats the main thing! Its the not riding them which can cause problems. Enjoy it how you want to enjoy it.

It will be fine, get the first 600 service done then open it a bit more
