Hi I’m Mike living in Manchester, very near trading up from a BMW r1200 RS to the V2. I’m in my later years and have been riding the last 12 years and fancy a change.
5’7" tall so a shorty but hopefully the v2 will work for me, I have test ridden for a 3 hour trip.
The downside is the insurance seems to be astronomical compared to other bikes, I’ve been quoted upwards of £740 for fully comp . currently pay £260 .
Tried quite a few companies today and their all similar and higher.
Is this because its a new model with little known data?
can anyone advise please .
