As supplied by ducati the headlight should have been labled with a lucas trademark

have finally got this working to the point where I can see a bit further than the front mudguard

high output bulb, large diameter wires running straight off battery to relays

If you put an LED bulb in it you will find that it’s great for daytime running with the brilliant white light but during the hours of darkness the beam thrown is crap.
