Is the steering head angle on a widecase scrambler frame the same as that on a road bike (MkIII)?
It looks the same by eye, but I might not be able to tell if there’s a degree or two difference.
I know that the rear suspension mounts are a little further forward and sligtly lower and that the rear subframe kicks up a little on the SCR’s - are there any other differences?
I’ve got a couple of SCR frames and I’m considering de-lugging one of them, and probably cutting out the seat loop, to make a new racer frame as I’ve got two new breaks in my racer frame after a awwkwnd at Anglesey (I’ll post more about that in the Racers section when I get time).
