The announcement of the new Streetfighter Di although initially a shock to me, I guess it was only a matter of time before one of the major manufacturers came up with a Diesel version of one of its models.
In many ways it is a great idea, and sure makes up for the current trend of having small fuel tanks because of the 80mpg fuel consumption, and just imagine the torque output of the thing!
One thing that puzzles me is the use of mechanical fuel injection, which although I know is a tried and tested technology (especially for Lister who helped Ducati develop the engine) you would have thought that Ducati would have gone for Multipoint fuel injection.
I wonder what it will sound like?
