V4r high race exhaust ……. road legal? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hi all, I’m new to this forum but not new to Ducati ownership, over the years I’ve had a 907, 916, 999s, and a Hypermotard

A recent inheritance got me thinking of getting another Duc in the stable and loving the Panigale I obviously thought of the V4r ……..

I have enough to buy a brand new standard one but I like the look of the high ‘wheelbarrow’ exhaust system from Akrapovic. I’m undecided whether to buy a brand new standard Panigale v4r and save up for the exhaust or to buy a very low mileage one with the exhaust already fitted??

The only issue with a second hand bike is you don’t know if it’s been run in properly but that’s opposed to riding a brand new bike out of the showroom and already losing £5k in depreciation :frowning:

On the subject of the exhaust …….. I’ve been told it will pass an MOT and is road legal?

What are your experiences of MOT’s with this system on and also getting insurance with it fitted

Thank you

Hi, i have just seen your email regarding a Panigale V4R and the Akrapovic high level exhaust system.

I have a 2023 V4R with the high level exhaust, which is currently being sold on my behalf by Ducati Chelmsford.

Full details of the bike are on their website, Better still, if your local and serious about a purchase perhaps go take a look?

I am the second owner of the bike. I cant remeber the exact mileage when i bought the bike but it was extremely low. The original owner had only had the bike for a short period of time and had run into marital issues and was forced to sell the bike. The bike has been well looked after and has not been tracked.

The bike is being offered with BST Carbon wheels fitted and will also be supplied with the original Marchessini wheels.

Regards,

Tony.

No Termignoni, Akrapovic or any other aftermarket exhaus is legal, theyvare all race use only.

Luckily not very heavily policed
