Apologies to you that are long time Ducati owners and know your bevels drives etc But under what engine config does the new DVT multi come under or is it a new category. Bit of a newbie to this I’m afraid.
Still new to Ducati as you know but it seems that the question I asked no one seems able to answer. Am I to assume that this engine falls into a completely new category that of "DVT.

It is a 4 valve belt drive

the DVT refers to ‘Ducati Variable Timing’ which means that the valve timing alters as engine speed changes so small valve overlap at low revs for better low speed running and larger valve overlap at high revs for more power.

Thanks for the info guys is was the “4 valve belt drive” that I was looking for which pigeon holes the engine now.
